AJ here with my Monday Musings! Been on the road the last five days traveling to the Kentucky Crafted Market 2018, in Louisville. It was a great show, found many new items from some great Appalachian Artisans to bring back to our site. However, after five days on the road, I was glad to get back home and have some comfort food. It’s hard to find a good home cooked meal on the road! As I was driving home, my taste buds got the hankering for some familiar comfort food that always soothes me. So when I got home, we cooked up some of my Grandmother O’Brad’s Macaroni and Cream-of-Wheat. I know what you are probably saying… but just read on for the story and her recipe that takes me back home to her kitchen table where love filled the room as much as the smell of her cooking.
