Wake Up Juice: Grandpap Steve’s – Horseradish Hot Bloody Mary Mix

Inspired by my Dad’s morning concoction of his “wake up juice”. Everyone has heard of the hair of the dog. but we wanted to take up a few notchs in flavor and kick (Remember our story about adding heat to steak?), so we came up with our Grandpap Steve’s Horseradish Hot Bloody Mary Mix. We think this will wake you up and get you kick started.

Ingredients

Water, Tomatoes, Worcestershire Sauce (Distilled White Vinegar, Water Molasses, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Salt, Soy Sauce [Water, Salt, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Corn Syrup, Caramel Coloring], Natural Flavoring, Caramel Coloring, Anchovies, Soy Flour, Garlic Extract). Lemon Juice (Water, Lemon Juice Concentrate), Hot Sauce (Distilled Vinegar, Red Pepper, Salt), Sugar, Salt, Xanthan Gum, Spices.

Serving Suggestions (non-alcholic varieties)

Power up your Soup

Add some kick to your tomato soup.  Saute some onions, diced tomatoes and Hair of the Bear, then mix in with your favorite tomato soup for spicy treat

Pita Dip

Mix 1/2 cup of Hair of the Bear with 1/3 cup mayo (spicy mayo??), 3 cups of cream cheese and chopped chives.  Serve with pita or corn chips.
