Welcome to Got Mountain Life, your source for unique gifts.  We hope you find our products to your liking and enjoy shopping experience.  Please review the following terms and conditions that govern your use of and purchase of items from our site www.gotmountainlife.com  whether online or by phone.  Please note that your use our site constitutes your agreement to follow and bound by these terms.

Ownership Rights

This website is solely owned and operated by Got Mountain Life, LLC and www.gotmountainlife.com.   Herein, this website its contents, trademarks, logos, photos and graphics are referred to as the “Website”.

Information About Our Products

Do to the nature of our wood products, we try to provide color and/or stain representations as accurately as possible, color and stain presentation can depend on your monitor settings and are likely to vary.  In addition, many of our products are hand crafted and will from time to time have variation in dimensions, grain, shades and texture.  A hand-made product or hand finished item may have slight differences, including color, measurements and appearance from the product shown  and from the product description.  Because hand-made item is made by human hands, each item is likely to be slightly different than the previous creation.  The creation and subsequent uniqueness of the product is an acceptable attribute of the artist and the industry.  These slight differences are not deemed as material differences or damages.

Returns and Exchanges

In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange it within 30 days of shipment.  Items must be unused, and in their original condition, in original packaging and boxes,  to be eligible for return and refund.  We will gladly refund your original purchase price, excluding shipping charges.  You are responsible for return shipping charges.

Any product that is a custom product or any product that has been personalized is not eligible for return refund, it is only eligible for exchange.

All returns must be accompanied with a Return Authorization, which may be obtained by emailing or calling us with the details of your order number, product purchased, and reason for seeking the return, to [email protected] , or by calling 865-293-5072.

Return Authorizations will expire after 15 days, returns must be shipped back within 15 days of Return Authorizations or no return credit will be given.  Late received ineligible items will NOT be returned to you unless your request it within 7 days of our receiving your package, and if you choose to have product shipped back, additional shipping charges will apply.


We will honor all craftsmanship and products for any defects for a period of 90 days from date of receipt.   We cannot be held liable for damage caused by misuse, or improper use or normal wear and tear.

Order Cancellation Policy

Please call us or email us immediately if you need to cancel and order.  Orders cannot be cancelled after they have been processed for shipping, or if they are a custom order. A cancellation fee of 25% may apply.

Shipped orders that are refused are subject to a cancelation and restocking fee of 25%, not including original shipping charges, in addition to any charges for return shipping.

Shipping Errors

All shipping errors must be reported within 2 days of receipt of the package.  All items listed on invoice should be in the box.  In the event that an item is backordered, you will not be charged until it is confirmed that you still wish to receive the backordered item, and then you will be notified when it is available for shipment and billing.

If you believe that you have been short shipped an item, please double-check all packing materials.  Please notify us at once for further instructions.  DO NOT discard original packaging material or the original shipping box, it will be required it you are instructed to repack and return the entire order back to us.

We record the weight of every shipment to the hundredth of a pound.  We will compare weight, packing materials and shipping notes to determine if there was a short ship.  If we determine that there was a short ship, we will only replace the exact item claimed.  

Items Lost or Damaged Shipment

We have been packing and shipping items for many years and use extreme care in packaging your order and items.  If damage does occur in transit it is usually the responsibility of the transportation company.  If your item was shipped via UPS and arrived damaged, please call us immediately to file a claim with UPS.  You must save all packing materials so the UPS representative can inspect the package and make a determination of responsibility.  If you feel the item damage was not caused during shipping, you must return it to us for inspection first.  Please contact us at [email protected]  within 2 days of receipt.  Items must be received back within 15 days from time Return Authorization is issued.  We will make a determination within 5 days of receipt back in our offices.  Claims will be processed within 10 days.

If shipment is lost Got Mountain Life must file a freight claim.  Claims can take about two weeks to process.  Once claim is approved, we will ship a replacement order as per the original order.  

Jurisdiction and Venue

This agreement shall be construed according to the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to any conflict of law provisions.  Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved according to the laws of, and in the state and federal courts of, the state of Georgia, USA.  Venue shall be proper only in the County of Gilmer, State of Georgia.


Prices are subject to change without notice.  We are not responsible for typographical errors or inaccuracies.  We reserve the right to correct any errors or omissions at any time without prior notice.  We reserve the right to modify or correct information at any time without prior notice.  We reserve the right to correct any errors (including pricing), inaccuracies or omissions on any orders, including orders which may have been submitted.

Sales Tax

Georgia law requires us to charge 7% sales tax to the cost of the order for all orders shipped within the state of Georgia.  There is no sales tax on orders shipped out of the state of Georgia.

Payment Options

We accept the following forms of payment:

Visa and Mastercard for online orders.  Orders can also be paid via cash, money order or check as a method for prepaid orders.  If a prepayment using money order, or check is made, orders will be shipped within 10 business days after receipt of funds.

Your personal information is of utmost concern to us as it is to you.  Consequently, we have taken measures in accordance with industry standards to protect your personal information.  This website uses secure server software (SSL) in all its transmissions.  All information is encrypted when it is processed.

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletters or email announcements, respond to a survey or fill out a form.
