Got Mountain Life kicked off our 2017 season with a day at Gibbs Gardens in Ball Ground, GA.

Gibbs Gardens is 292+ world class acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, spring-fed streams, ponds and lakes, nestled in mature woodlands covering rolling hillsides and majestic views and vista.

Found and developed by Jim Gibbs upon his private family estate in 1980, and opened to the public since 2012, this is a must see stop for anyone who wants to slow down, take a breath of mountain air, and to experience a true balance between nature and man-made elements to create harmony with nature.  We promise that you will feel relaxed after a day at the garden.

Visit Gibbs Gardens in the spring, March to mid-April for their 20 million daffodils.  Any time of year is a true treat to enjoy a stroll around the lakes and ponds, to the manor house, through Waterlily Gardens and Monet Bridge.  The Japanese Garden and Grandchildren’s garden are a must see.

Enjoy the day at one of our favorite ways to unwind and relax.
